After a short trek to reach the hilltop of Mullayanagiri, one can choose to climb the last 300 odd steps to reach the highest peak of Karnataka to seek the blessings in the temple of "Mulappa Swamy". If you get tired of all the trekking and want to relax your muscles a bit in the cooling waters, head to one of the many waterfalls located in the vicinity of these trekking areas. Manikyadhara falls, Buttermilk falls, Hebbe falls, Kalhatti falls are among the famous ones. You would find many small unnamed natural waterfalls during your drive to the various places.
One would definitely be amazed at the rich flora and fauna surrounded by these many waterfalls. The thunderous sounds made by these falls can be heard from long distances. Few of these falls are also known to have medicinal qualities as well.

There is also a Coffee Museum which details out the coffee production of the district and also has evaluation centers to evaluate the various coffee beans. It gives a great information about the different facets to coffee production.
